BackCourse Information
What does the course involve?
Engineering Level 3 merges curiosity, problem-solving, and technical skills to address real-world challenges. If you have a technical mindset, practical skills, and a passion for innovation, and if you are motivated to explore complex problems and create effective solutions, then an Engineering Level 3 program might be the perfect fit for you.
Engineering encompasses a wide array of roles, involving the application of scientific principles and practical knowledge to transform ideas and materials into safe, functional products and systems, and to support them throughout their lifecycle. This qualification covers a range of engineering specialisations, including electrical and electronic, mechanical, and manufacturing, among others.
You will benefit from the diverse vocational experience of the Engineering team who have all worked in different industries including Automotive, Mechanical, Electrical, Nuclear and Construction prior to teaching.
Some of the subjects that you will learn about are: Principles of engineering, Materials science and technology, Engineering in practice. And two optional units from the following: Computer Aided Design (CAD), Programmable electronics, Mechanical product design, Electrical devices and circuits.
There is a mix of theory and practical elements, and you do not need any previous experience or knowledge of the specialist subjects as we teach them from first principles.
Is it for me?
You will enjoy this course if you are organised, creative, practical, and driven. Do you see opportunities to enhance everyday items and products?
