Principal, Alan Whittaker, said, "I'd like to congratulate our students for their amazing efforts and thank all staff for their commitment and hard work. They (students and staff) never fail to impress and this is yet another exceptionally proud day in our history."

Mr Whittaker was also particularly pleased with results relating to science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) subjects.
He added, "We have absolutely excelled in every subject in STEM, we are significantly exceeding national averages for biology, computer science, electronics, further maths, maths and physics. This is definitely the place to come and study these qualifications."
In addition to the STEM news, the college saw record numbers of students gaining places at universities across the country to read medicine, aeronautics and astronautics and Biomedical and Biovetinary sciences at university.
One of those students is Charles Clack from Ipswich. The 18 year old got three A*s in biology, chemistry and physics.
He said, "It (my results) was a bit of a surprise. I've always wanted to get a degree and I will be the first in my family to go to university. I'm looking forward to the experience."
