One Sixth Form is committed to continuous improvements in teaching and learning - staff are keen to integrate evidence-informed practice into their classrooms and contribute to ongoing and new pedagogic research projects where possible. Students are equally encouraged to conduct research into areas of their interest, often in partnership with external agencies, to develop their investigative and critical thinking skills. Please find below an outline of our current and legacy projects, with updates and further investigations to come throughout the academic year.

ResearchMeet OSFC - January 2021
On 29th January 2021, One Sixth Form hosted our first online ResearchMeet with delegates from a wide range of UK FE institutions. A thought-provoking keynote speaker initiated fruitful dialogue amongst colleagues, which were extended by a number of skilful facilitators in breakout rooms and round-table discussions.
