What is the Impact of Lifestyle Choices on Academic Achievement?
An individual's health can be seriously affected by their lifestyle choices. But could those same lifestyle choices affect a student's academic achievement, compared to their predicted grade? If personalised intervention strategies were put in place, would a student follow the strategy and would they obtain higher grades, or "just" better health?
My research is exploring precisely this. The investigation will focus on quality and quantity of sleep, whilst considering that many, but not all variables of a student's lifestyle are their own choice.
